Over the past century, women have improved their political, economic and social statuses; however, women are still widely under-represented in leadership fields and make up the largest percentage of the poor in Canada. That is why "It’s in the Bag: Women Helping Women" is a great opportunity for women who have achieved success, to help those who are still struggling to make it.
The event features a silent auction of handbags (designer purses, artistic purses, purses donated by local or international celebrities), great food, exciting entertainment and an opportunity to raise money for women’s groups in Vancouver.
